Yoshio Jogan

Concept Creator / Designer / Researcher of Japanese Traditional Design

Yoshio Jogan began his career in Kyoto as a kimono pattern designer after graduating from high school.

For more than 50 years, he has worked in the field of Japanese traditional design, developing his practice from hand-drawn kimono patterns to digital design, graphic design, textile design, interior design, fusuma art, and cultural research.

He is the founder and representative of Kyoto Design Factory.

Today, his work extends beyond design itself to lectures, corporate education, concept development, and the reinterpretation of Japanese tradition for contemporary society.

His lifelong theme is simple:

To bring the beauty and wisdom of Japanese tradition to the world, and to pass it on to the future.
